BrickCon 2008 will be October 2--5, 2008.
Register now at www.brickcon.org; rates go up and the last order for engraved bricks goes
in on Tuesday.
There are currently over 170 registered attendees, twelve of whom are from
TLG.
The con models are packed up and ready for sale (limited quantities).
The theme of the Con is Adventure.
Some trophies still need to be made (8x8 vignettes)---contact Steve Walker
if interested. BrickCon will reimburse for materials. Trophies can be
fun to make. As (Rick?) said---"Build big---but in a vignette size."
There were new people. They were introduced.
Stuff people brought included Josh's chariot, Lino's A-wing and new cars,
Andrew's zombie street scene, Justin's tanks, Steve's ball contraption,
and a bunch of other stuff.
Eleven people drafted twelve copies of 7670, Hailfire Droid and Spider
Droid.
