Those who had attended Bricks by the Bay 2010 gave a report on the recent
successful convention near San Francisco. Feedback was generally
positive, but space was tight. Organizers are already looking for a
larger space for Bricks by the Bay 2012.
BrickCon 2010 ("Tales of the Brick") will be September 30--October 3.
Registration should open within the next few months. Registration fees
will be increasing slightly because the Con will now incorporate a catered
lunch on Friday (and a separate area with a no-host bar on Thursday
night). Remember that the Brothers Brick-sponsored theme area will be
"Big in Japan"---things like Iain's (or was it Oscar's?) ninja will fit
right in.
Several people drafted set 7570, Ostrich Race.

July Meeting

Dan Herrmann will look into getting a library. If he is not
successful, people should start trying to reserve a suitable location
ASAP. (Future meetings are also up for grabs.) The May meeting had 33
attendees.
