BrickFest is fast approaching. A quick poll revealed that at least
two-thirds of those in attendance were planning on going. Everyone
should. Jon is hosting a Virtual Lego Room Tour at the Fest (you take
pictures of your Lego Room, put them on a thumb drive, and talk about them
for a few minutes).
Andrew would like to remind us that that last year when the Lego
Ambassadors cycled and we were supposed to nominate someone from SEALUG it
happened between meetings and we didn't, so we should have a list of names
ready to work with. If, as in the past, SEALUG were asked to nominate
three candidates we could throw those names on a poll on the Website and
narrow it down to three. Mentioned potential future ambassadors were Andrew Becraft, Thomas Garrison, Mark Neumann, Lino Martins, and Steve
Walker. Others?
Terri ran a twenty-piece build challenge that she got from Pitsco.
Participants used identical sets of twenty (or fewer) parts to build a
duck, and tower, and a random MOC (which in practice meant an airplane).
