Mission Statement

The Seattle Area LEGO® Users Group (SEALUG) is an association bringing together Adult Fans of LEGO® (AFOLs) within a supportive community committed to creativity and cooperation. Meetings are held in the greater Puget Sound area. New members are welcome to participate with new input and new ideas. There are no membership fees or dues. We hold regular monthly meetings, usually the 1st Saturday of every month, at various locations, selected during the previous month’s meeting. Meeting times are flexible, but typically run from 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Meetings are not limited to showing off our own LEGO® creations (MOCs), hanging out, sharing refreshments, trading parts, sets and other LEGO® stuff, a group activity or game, and a short business meeting. SEALUG invites all to participate in discussions about LEGO® products, plan and schedule events, and join an open forum with others passionate about the LEGO® brand.

Throughout the year, SEALUG members participate in collaborative public displays of LEGO® creations, most notably at BrickCon, held every October in Seattle. We also work with schools, community centers, church groups, museums and libraries to provide displays and hands on experiences.

Our Goals

  • To provide a setting for communication and friendship amongst adult fans of LEGO® and communication between our members and The LEGO® Group.
  • To work cooperatively, both within the club and with others, to support the continued advancement of the hobby and to generate awareness of the adult LEGO® community locally and globally.
  • To demonstrate by public exhibitions and other activities the power of LEGO® to unleash the imagination in adults and children alike. These events provide our members with opportunities to showcase the many aspects of the LEGO® hobby and to engage the public in conversation about the Adult LEGO® Community.

Do you want to build something different than shown on the front of the box?

Do you have a desire to open a new set and split the parts into separate piles?

Do you want to socialize with other AFOLs?

Do you live in the King, Snohomish, Pierce or Kitsap County area?

Welcome to SEALUG!

Joining SEALUG
Joining SEALUG is easy. We are a very loose knit group and welcome new members at any time. The first step to joining is to sign up for our email list and then to come to a meeting. You are welcome to bring anything you might want to show off, or just to bring yourself. Meeting times and particulars are announced on our Calendar and on the SeaLug Facebook page.
